Bossier City, La.—Today, the Conservative Baptist Network announces the launch of its Virginia State Chapter. As the Network continues to grow, the Virginia State Chapter will emphasize the Conservative Baptist Network’s core values and functions.

Leading the Virginia Chapter is Robert Wrenn, Ed.S. Wrenn is the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. Wrenn is a committed Baptist, saying, "Baptists are often called ‘The People of the Book.’ The reason for that is because of how Baptists place an emphasis on the ultimate authority of the Bible for faith and practice."

Convinced of the great need to advance the kingdom of God and focus on evangelism, missions, and biblical truth, Wrenn says, "I have chosen to be a part of the Conservative Baptist Network to serve Christ and to help advance these goals."

Wrenn hopes that the Virginia Chapter will be able to encourage and equip pastors and churches to do the work of God.

"I hope that we will work together to hold to Biblical truth, and serve Christ with loving hearts," said Wrenn.
