The Georgia State Chapter is the first state affiliate of the national Conservative Baptist Network formed in February 2020 to bring positive, biblical solutions that strengthen the SBC in an effort to fulfill the Great Commission and influence culture. The endorsers include 10 current and past Georgia Baptist Convention presidents and nine GBC officers and other leaders.

Tony Dickerson

Tony Dickerson is a former GBC president, has pastored Pinehurst Baptist Church of Columbus for more than 47 years, and has served in many other denominational capacities.

Robby Foster

Robby Foster is the current president of the GBC and serves as pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Valdosta.

A graduate of Brewton-Parker and a two-time graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Hattaway has served in numerous capacities including chairing the board of trustees at both Shorter University and Brewton-Parker College.

Danny Henson

Danny Henson for many years has served as the GBC’s highly-respected recording secretary. He has recently retired as pastor of New Liberty Baptist Church in Ringgold.

Darey Kittle

Darey Kittle serves Georgia Baptists as assistant recording secretary and as associational missions strategist for the 68 churches of the Conasauga Baptist Association. He has been pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Dalton for 25 years.

Bill Ricketts

Bill Ricketts is a past GBC president, and he retired as pastor of Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Athens after 43 years. He has served as a member of the SBC Executive Committee, and, as a trustee of the IMB, was a member of its most recent presidential search team.

Wayne Robertson

Wayne Robertson is a past GBC president and serves as pastor of Morningside Baptist in Valdosta. He has held numerous leadership positions including two terms on the SBC Executive Committee.
