The Florida State Chapter is a state affiliate of the national Conservative Baptist Network formed in February 2020 to bring positive, biblical solutions that strengthen the SBC in an effort to fulfill the Great Commission and influence culture.

A conservative Southern Baptist, Pigg has served in a variety of roles with the Florida Baptist Convention and has been a featured speaker on multiple panels and at evangelism conferences. Having served several churches, Timothy champions the high calling of the pastor and believes that the most pressing issues facing communities and the nation are solved through the ministries of a local church functioning biblically. Pigg holds a doctoral degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Geoff Prows serves currently as the senior pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Baker, Fla. Not only has he served as a pastor in North Carolina and Tennessee, but Prows was a church planter in Monroe, Ohio. Prows is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served on the SBC Committee on Committees and currently serves as a trustee at Truett McConnell University. In his free time, he coaches middle school and high school basketball at Baker school and serves as a chaplain for the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. He is married to Jennifer and has two children.
Florida pastors form state chapter of the Conservative Baptist Network
Immokalee, Fla. – Today the Conservative Baptist Network announces the launch of its Florida state chapter. With more states soon to launch, CBN continues to expand as a localized, grassroots effort.
Leading the Florida chapter as a lead state coordinator is Timothy Pigg, lead pastor of Fellowship Church in Immokalee and Ave Maria, Fla. Pigg currently serves as a member of the Florida Baptist Convention’s State Board of Missions and as a church planting trainer for the North American Mission Board. He is a three-time graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pigg also serves on committees and boards for his local association.
